5G is NOT the boogeyman
I suggest judging "conspiracy theories" based on the number of people required to keep quiet in order to keep the evil secrets.
A few days ago I posted about how there are still loony tunes ideas out there, even though many so called conspiracy theories have been proven accurate.
It’s worth noting that Project Veritas released a third video of Jordon Walker of Pfizer, where he went into some details discussing how there was a concern that the mRNA “vaccines” were interfering with women’s menstrual cycles. This puts to rest any claims of how he was just “bragging” to impress a date, and the general content of the conversation also further shreds the silly claims that he was a paid actor who was hired to fool Project Veritas.
On a related note, in case you had not heard, there is a connection between Corona and 5G communications among conspiracy types. I read a little bit down one of these rabbit holes a couple years or so ago, and quickly dismissed the people spouting this as full on lunatics, or essentially carnival barker style con artists. Take your pick. They claim that viruses don’t exist at all, or at least that the Corona virus does not exist, and that it is actually 5G radiation that is making people sick. FFS do not buy into this, no matter how slick, how “scientific”, or how compelling the presentation seems to you.
When it comes to cellular communications in particular, and various wireless communications in general, I have far more knowledge than most people. I’ve spent about 2 decades worth of working in labs and managing labs where cellular and other communications chips were being tested, including some testing of 26 GHz 5G amplifier chips, and very extensive testing of 76 to 81 GHz automotive radar chips, which are much higher frequency than almost any other device used by an average consumer now. I have been in the lab right next to these chips while they were transmitting for extended periods and suffered no ill effects.
And if you look nationwide in the U.S. there are going to be well over 10,000 other engineers, technicians, managers, and other employees involved with all kinds of communications chips. It could easily be over 50,000 people. To maintain a conspiracy or an evil plan to control or kill people with 5G signals, you’re going to need to somehow fool or keep silent almost all of those technical people, and then worldwide there will be at least 200,000 more people to keep quiet one way or another.
It might be well over 500,000 people worldwide that would have access to detailed 5G technology information, and those people would have to kept from revealing the mechanisms of how 5G is supposed to do the nefarious things that various loons are claiming it does. I talked about flat earth lunacy in the previous post I linked above, and maintaining a conspiracy that the earth is a sphere when it is really flat would require keeping many millions quiet worldwide. (Assuming flat earther claims were not completely absurd on their face such that we needed to even look at how many people would be involved.)
My point is you’re never going to keep that many people quiet. The pretend “vaccines” needed thousands to keep quiet or otherwise go along, and that didn’t happen. There were whistleblowers in various areas very early on, and people started showing the evidence early on that the claims for the jabs were not valid. They were not and are not “safe and effective”, and the people pointing that out included many prominent doctors. And those doctors have been able to go into detail, and they have been able to show possible mechanisms of how the mRNA jabs are doing the damage that they are doing.
Have you heard any prominent doctors providing details on how 5G is controlling people or killing people? Do you think 5G can control nano whatever in your blood, or on its own otherwise damage your health, and yet not cause problems with other electronic equipment in your home? Do you have any idea how long various forms of electromagnetic radiation have been in use all around you?? Do you know anything about electromagnetic field strength?? Have you looked at a frequency spectrum with those various uses shown to see just how crowded it is??
Wikipedia lists the 5G frequency bands in tables here. If you want a picture to show things better, you can download a pdf of just about everything out there even 20 years ago. If you download the pdf you can zoom in and see things better. There’s one at this link. It will give you the graphic below.
Per the date in the lower left hand corner it’s 20 years old now, so you can be sure that there’s been multiple new things added since then, including stuff added prior to the 5G rollout but with no claims of evil intent that I’ve heard of until 5G.
“The Radio Spectrum” as defined above goes from 3 KHz all the way up to 300 GHz. As you can see from the 20 year old graphic, there is a massive amount of radio activity going on, and this has been true for decades.
In multiple standards like cellular and WiFi, the technology has been updated many times over the past couple decades plus to allow for higher data rates and thus faster communication. These updates usually come every 4 to 7 years. Updates are mostly a result of consumer demand. Normal technological advances of course play a role, just like they have in computing. But there’s no reason to think it’s a sinister plan to control people.
I don’t know if it’s still possible, but try finding an area with only 2G cellular standards and try surfing the web or watching a video on your phone. You probably can find 3G areas, and even there things will be much slower than with 4G. You may have found 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) to be fast enough for all of your needs on a cell phone, but you can still find plenty of people who wanted faster speeds.
Then there’s the rollout of 5G internet service to finally challenge the cable or telco monopolies or maybe duopolies found in many areas. I use 5G internet now and the rollout of the 5G competition alone caused monopoly Cox cable to drop my rate by $30 per month, and even with that it still was not competitive with the 5G service I have now.
If you think that 5G is higher frequency and that is why it’s evil, note that my 5G internet modem so far is not using anything above 3 GHz, so it is not even up there with the 5 GHz WiFi band on my router, and that’s been around for much longer than 5G cellular. (Don’t confuse “5 GHz” frequency with “5G” which roughly means “5th generation” and is not an indication of frequency.)
My point here being that you can’t simply assign some nefarious intent when there is obvious consumer demand and obvious consumer benefit. Is it possible that the government could use 5G cellular to illegally track people? Sure, but they’ve been doing that with 4G and other methods before that. And most people willingly allow various apps to track them with super accurate GPS anyway, which those apps then sell that information to data bundlers, and those bundlers then turn around and sell that to advertisers and whoever else is willing to pay the fee. Whether it’s government agencies, the news media, or someone else.
I covered this early in a previous post about the evidence of election fraud, including how ‘2000 Mules’ was able to track people very accurately by purchasing data from these bundlers. I don’t know why anyone thinks that 5G is going to allow better tracking than GPS, nor does it make sense that new compression and transmission methods that also increase throughput for obvious reasons are part of some big conspiracy. Each new iteration of cellular and each new iteration of WiFi has been done in a fashion similar to the step to 5G.
To counter claims of 5G being used for evil EMF (ElectroMagnetic Field, or Electro Motive Force to cover both applicable and related uses of the acronym) purposes, it’s worth looking at some technical facts. An electromagnetic field can create an electromotive force to move things or power things.
All electric motors (that I am familiar with) operate using an electromagnetic field, whether the motor is AC or DC. The electrical currents through the wires/windings in the motor magnetize different parts of the motor such that it turns and can then power your electric drill or your electric vehicle. Some motors use a combination of windings and fixed magnets. The fields inside a motor are WAY stronger than what you are exposed to by your cell phone.
Getting back the graphic above with its wide frequency range, the lower the frequency is the longer the wavelength. The equation is:
wavelength = velocity / frequency
Velocity in the air of electromagnetic waves is roughly 3 x 10 to the 8th power meters per second. Frequency is in cycles per second, so when you divide you end up with a wavelength in meters. The wavelength of the signals you want to send and/or receive dictates the length/size of the antenna that is optimum for those signals.
Old school TV antennas (and new school if you have one) are larger than the antenna in your cell phone because the frequency is lower for TV signals. So it’s a very good thing antenna size wise to use higher frequencies for cellular service.
Yes there are compromises to enable smaller antennas, but the general idea of smaller antennas (or at least smaller receiving elements even if a dish style antenna is used to focus the signals) with increasing frequency holds true. A detailed discussion of various antenna types is both beyond the scope here and unnecessary to convey the simple idea of wavelength versus frequency. They are inversely proportional, and there are advantages to using higher frequencies in many cases such as for hand held cell phones.
An interesting fact you may not have known, is that your microwave oven can have that mesh screen to allow you to see inside without your face getting cooked because the cooking microwave frequency is such that the wavelength is long enough that the microwaves do not come through the screen. They are reflected back. Since microwave ovens can leak to some extent, it’s still a good idea to keep your distance anyway as opposed to standing right there close to the window looking in while the microwave is on. And this fact gets us into electromagnetic field strength.
There are actually low cost devices on Amazon that will allow you to measure electromagnetic fields. I have two of them and I know they work to some extent because you can see the readings increase as you move closer to anything electric or electronic. I have this one, and by all means ignore the “ghost hunter” verbiage that they’ve added to the listing to try and increase sales. I’ve seen the insides of one of these before, and it had a coil of traces in a circuit board to detect electromagnetic field strength.
The absolute accuracy is always going to be suspect because it’s such a low cost and thus crude device, but you can see that every time you move it close to an electrical outlet the readings will increase. Then move it away and it will decrease until a few feet away or so it will read zero. You can also hold it next to your cell phone and get readings, and you can also hold it next to your microwave and move it all around including the “slot” between the edge of the door and the control panel. At that point you’ll probably see why you should NOT hang around close to the microwave while it’s on. Even if the absolute accuracy is doubtful you do get some relative idea of one source of EMF versus another.
Note that many electronic things that show an electric field with this device will not show a magnetic field. That tells you that the magnetic field is too weak to show a reading on a crude device like this. It will show readings even for very small magnets though. And the one I just tried is smaller than a pea and comes in a pack meant to be played with in a large group of hundreds of them to form different shapes. And yet I’ve never heard of magnets like this causing problems for people’s health. In fact there are plenty of claims that magnets worn on the body can help various ailments.
The other huge thing to consider is how quickly electromagnetic field strength drops off with distance. By all means, do not use your cell phone with it pressed up against your head for any length of time. Use the speaker phone feature or keep your calls short. Even a few inches away makes a difference in the field your brain is exposed to.
Don’t keep it right next to you when you sleep either. 3 feet away is still plenty reachable and the field will be negligible. (Old analog cell phones from the 1980s and 90s had more power than phones today.) Beyond that if you’re concerned, keep other electronic devices further away from you as well. My computer monitor shows MUCH higher readings than my 5G cell phone, but again the readings drop much lower just one foot away.
The bottom line is that there are far more powerful sources of EMF in your home and outside your home than your 5G cell phone, and they are more powerful than the cellular towers at a distance outside your home. Odds are TV and radio transmitting towers in your area are also stronger signals than cellular signals unless you’re very close to a cellular tower.
I still haven’t done the test of taking this little meter near some of the very high voltage power lines up on the tall towers, but I can tell you right now that I would not live close to those. I wouldn’t want to live near TV or radio towers either, nor right under a cellular tower. That still doesn’t mean that 5G signals have some new magical power to affect the human body while otherwise not showing effects elsewhere.
If electromagnetic radiation is causing health problems, and I do think this is entirely possible, it’s going to be a cumulative effect from a combination of everything out there now, including the AC wiring and appliances and etc. in your house, and it’s going to mostly be based on the strength and the amount of total exposure. I don’t think any one new iteration of a cellular communication protocol is making a big difference in that total exposure.
File the 5G conspiracy theories under the lunacy category until someone credible quantifies an increase in typical total human EMF exposure because of it.
P.S. if you really want to thoroughly check your home environment for radio signals of all kinds, there’s always a real spectrum analyzer. I’ve used one very similar to this one, but actually the newer FSW generation:
Careful though, even used they tend to be quite expensive.
Anecdotal evidence isn't worth a lot, but back in 1995-96, I worked with a young guy named Pat who walked around with his cellphone glued to his right ear. It was a habit that stood out, because so few people had cellphones then. He was constantly on it all through his workday. In early1996, Pat constantly complained to me about chronic pain above his right shoulder blade. I kept telling him to go to a chiropractor, get it x-rayed. Nope, he was too busy with his new promotion, his new wife, and their new baby. God, he was only 26 or 27. In the summer of 1996, he finally went to a doctor. An x-ray showed a tumor the size of a softball behind his shoulder. He died three months later. His baby was only six months old. He and his wife were still madly in love.
Made a big impression on me, that did. It wasn't hard at all to connect two dots and find a causal connection. I've never trusted cellphones since then. I only have a Jitterbug, which isn't a smartphone but has texting and voicemail. I only carry it with me when I'm actually going somewhere and use a landline for 95% of my phone time.
By the way, I recently bought a cheap meter to measure electric and magnetic fields in the house. Wow, what an eye-opener! One adjustment we made: we now unplug the modem-router when we're sleeping, because it's located so close to the bedrooms.
I am confused about the risk difference between static E and M fields, and the transmissions via those fields. Are the latter more dangerous to health than the former?
Thanks for covering this topic, Chris. Your range of knowledge is truly amazing.
Thanks to beam steering technology 5G has lower power density and is the safest cellular emission yet. And it's amazing how many people don't understand inverse square.
But still, the 5G activated the chemtrails and created Covid. Do I have that right?
