VFN Admits Its Left Wing Bias
VFN as in Very Fake News, and they are just one source of many with the same problem. And one of the best books to educate others on the issue.
Other than his occasional ridiculous comments about the “vaccines” over the past several months, ya gotta love John Nolte at Breitbart. Today he skewered CNN VFN extremely well, including a humorous sub heading describing his thoughts on little Brian Stelter:
Nolte’s article links to and quotes from an Axios article. As Nolte points out, Axios is far left wing, and yet they admit the left wing bias at VFN. Axios does make some pathetic attempts at spinning the situation at VFN, and actually says “Ratings are secondary to credibility…” according to VFN’s new overall head from Warner Brothers. The problem is that VFN’s ratings are completely down the toilet along with their credibility.
They’ve never had any credibility with anyone well informed and/or not on the left, and that’s the biggest reason their ratings also suck. Their wall to wall negative coverage of Trump did help bring in a bunch of Trump Derangement Syndrome types for a few years, but those types of people have no interest in real news and actual facts. They work purely on irrational emotion, and when they didn’t have anything they hated enough being disparaged all day long, they went away.
Some of them I’m sure did head over to MSNBC MSDNC to feed their irrational needs with different talking heads, but many of them have probably even woken up in the past year plus under fraudulent Biden. It would be interesting to see some of them asking themselves “What the hell was I thinking??!! Biden is a demented old fool and this is a nightmare!!”
There is a bigger picture here. The obvious left wing media bias in general coupled with left wingers’ denial that it exists. The problem for those deniers is that left wing media bias can be fully documented and quantified. It’s not so subjective that it cannot be fully established and measured. I’ll have more posts later on this topic, but I suggest the 2001 book ‘Bias’ by lifelong democrat Bernard Goldberg.
He worked at CBS “News” for three decades according to the book’s jacket notes, so he had a first hand look dating back to before Watergate hit the news. About seven years later he wrote another book specific to left wing media’s treatment of Barack Obama and named appropriately:
I have not read that one, but I expect it to include many more concrete examples of left wing bias just like his earlier book. Both books should be assigned reading for high school juniors and/or seniors everywhere.
If you think Goldberg is remotely right wing or even Republican, go find some of the segments when he appeared on Bill O’Reilly on Fox News years ago and you’ll quickly see that that is not the case. He was an old school centrist democrat who was willing to point out the far left bias in mainstream media. So if you want to educate your kids, your family members, or friends, ‘Bias’ is a good starting point.
