Read my comments before watching the video. This is a truly remarkable contrast on how drug companies are portrayed by the left now vs. not that long ago.

Let me make clear the video here is FAIR USE for criticism/commenting/reporting purposes.

I was not able to place the video down in my post for some reason. Video uploads may still be in beta here on Substack. Substack also controls the quality you see, as they transform the video upon upload to save storage space. Also apologies for two paragraphs of mostly redundant material here from an earlier post, but there are many new subscribers here since then. Feel free to skip down to just below the subscription button if you saw my previous post mentioning ‘Boston Legal’.

‘Boston Legal’ is a TV show that ran from 2004 to late 2008 on ABC. It’s currently included with Amazon Prime video. I watched some episodes back when it first aired on TV mostly for the humor, and here lately I’ve been watching all the episodes, but fast forward skipping over many of the long left wing diatribes. Take away the very non PC humor and the interactions between William Shatner and James Spader, and the many women they pursue, and Boston Legal gets cancelled after one season.

The show’s creators got the message that ‘Denny Crane’ and ‘Alan Shore’ were the stars of the show in season one, which is why the show soon went to a plan of having every episode end with Shatner and Spader out on the balcony having drinks and smoking cigars. Without the non PC humor throughout every episode, the show is certainly unwatchable for me, and even with that humor the 10 second quick skip ahead on Prime video is still very important to bypass some of the worst long winded left wing speeches. The majority of these assigned to James Spader’s character. Pretty much every left wing narrative got covered, and almost every pathetic left wing talking point got trotted out to defend those narratives.

I stress this very left wing perspective of the show to highlight the contrast between those narratives and talking points in the period from 2004 to 2008, and what the left says now on certain issues.

I already talked a few weeks ago about how a transvestite was handled in the show, noting there was no claim of the fictitious word “transgender”. I also mentioned well down in that post how in the early seasons of the show “global warming” was used with no mention of “climate change”. In the 4th season (if I remember right) there was an episode where both terms were used. No doubt part of the transition in the messaging for the global warming scam.

Today I want to point out how vastly different big pharma was treated. The video here is from season 5 in 2008. To be exact, it is Season 5 Episode 6 called “Happy Trails”. By all means go watch the whole episode. Whatever works to help ensure I don’t get a copyright takedown for my first video attempt here on Substack. I’ve read the Fair Use commentary here and I think I’m fine using about 2 minutes of a 45 or so minute long show to criticize the left’s 180 degree turn on big pharma.

Buy me a coffee

To set up the clip, Candice Bergen’s character is defending Betty White’s character (Yes, Betty is funny in the many episodes she appears in.) in court for setting fire to her doctor’s office. Betty’s character set the fire because the doctor prescribed her a drug which caused to her to have a heart attack, which is quite appropriate for what’s been happening for the past 2 years of the death jabs.

The video shows a decent bit of Candice Bergen’s character’s closing argument to get Betty White’s character off on the charge against her, and it covers the FDA employee “capture” that Jordon Walker of Pfizer bragged about, it covers big pharma buying off politicians, and it covers big pharma kickbacks to doctors as well. It even touches on tainted research and the lack of disclosure to patients. Imagine “mainstream media” providing this type of coverage now, all of which fully applies to the Corona “vaccines”, instead of them being “Brought to you by Pfizer”. Is the money the only reason for the change???

Note that this episode is literally a couple episodes away from a 2008 election episode where there is all kinds of Obama campaigning within the law firm coupled with McCain and Palin bashing. There were several other episodes during the 2008 campaign season where this same very pro democrat messaging was used, so there is zero doubt that the people behind Boston Legal were very, very, pro democrat and anti republican. And this episode was less than 13 years prior to when there was ample evidence that the Corona “vaccines” were both useless and deadly (late summer 2021), yet there has been no criticism anything like that shown in the video.

Check it out and let me know what you think. Betty White’s character is even found “not guilty”.
