Mistakes of the founders. Part 1.
This one comes first since it is probably the biggest "unforced error".
The founding fathers got many things right and created the greatest country in the history of mankind, but they did not foresee how the evil of tyrants and their underlings could pervert their words many decades to centuries down the line. You can excuse that error to varying levels, but their failure to spell out punishments for violating the Constitution is another matter.
Surely the founders could have anticipated that there would be various people with ill intentions who would seek to become legislators, executive officials, and also judges, yet the only thing they spelled out as a crime was treason:
Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.
As you can see from the text, treason deals with war, or assisting enemies of the United States. Granted, a broad definition of ‘assisting enemies’ would cover most of what the left does today and has been doing for 5 decades or more, but using treason as a catch all is far less than ideal and open to many more attacks. The founders should have spelled out punishments for many other violations and given those crimes different names.
The Bill Of Rights in particular, should have had accompanying language spelling out severe punishments for violating them. Step 1 would be immediate removal from office or from the role the offender occupied. Of course the offender would get due process and a chance to refute the charges against them, but in certain circumstances they would immediately be on leave. Publicly stating that social media companies must or even should censor dissenting views (in a context of supporting the censorship), for example, is a blatant violation of the first amendment and is enough evidence on it’s face to immediately suspend the person who made the comment. In most cases the hearing process for the person would be very quick, and they would lose.
Good ole Barack Obama made some comments many years ago showing why the Bill Of Rights needs and has needed special protection. And this is another great example that destroys left wing claims of “racism” against Obama, and/or those on the right supposedly making up bad things about Obama, etc., etc. All you have to do is listen to Obama’s own words to see what an anti-American radical he is. Here he is in a 2001 interview, long before his higher aspirations were widely known. (Even if his Manchurian Candidate backers/handlers already had the full plan in place even back then.)

The link above starts at the key point, and the video added to the audio track includes helpful text displayed on screen. The gist that you can see just from the direct quote above is that Obama sees the Constitution as an impediment, preventing him and others from doing what they want to do. I may expand on this more later, but listen to the audio to get the full effect. This is radical leftism in a nutshell, and yes they absolutely oppose the Constitution and yes they are hell bent on destroying this country.
The Corona scamdemic/plandemic has been a billion times more telling on the founders’ failure, however. If you’ve seen the memes on the Constitution not applying if people get sick, some of them are spot on. The text over the picture in one I’ve seen is “I’ve been through this a dozen times, and there’s nothing in here saying “Does not apply if people get sick.” I couldn’t find that specific one, but this one conveys the same sentiment:
The point being that no, HELL NO, people getting sick does NOT invalidate the Bill Of Rights. No politician or public official anywhere has the authority to lock people down, to close businesses, to stop church services, etc. Period. And going along with it was one of Trump’s biggest failures. In my ideal world anyone even trying would be publicly hanged. Anyone claiming it should be done would be removed from office.
I’ve only seen one court challenge where a judge fully followed the Constitution. He said “There is no pandemic exception to the Constitution.” This is fact, and this is what every single judge or panel of judges should have said from day one.
Instead, we have left wing judges everywhere, and even right side judges who don’t have nearly enough spine. So you get left wing politicians who do not even care about the Bill Of Rights, and they’re dumb enough to admit it on live TV:

So yes, I’m calling this huge error an obvious mistake. The founders could have and should have anticipated tyrants like Phil Murphy and so many others simply ignoring the Bill Of Rights.
