How many race hoaxers/scammers have there been over the past 15 years or more???
I’m not going to go into much detail on this post either. Everyone reading here should be fully aware of Jussie Smollett’s hoax that got him convicted. Many of you a bit older may also remember Al Sharpton’s hoax using Tawana Brawley. That was one of the very early ones and is from over 35 years ago now. If you follow the link to the story you’ll see that as of 10 years ago Brawley had not paid much of anything of the legal award given to one of the men she falsely accused. Note that both of those links are to left wing media, so no one can legitimately claim that I don’t ever read anything from the left.
On a related note, if you do a search for racism hoaxes you will get left wing sites like NPR trying to claim that the majority of the time it is white people doing the hoaxing. Take a closer look at the claims and you’ll see that this is a lie. Yes you can find instances of whites making up false stories about blacks committing crimes against them. Often the people making the false claims are trying to cover up their own crimes, but there is not really a racism claim involved. If you know anything at all about official FBI crime statistics, and you want to make your false claim seem believable, you will accuse a black man just for the believability. Here’s just one story that gets into those statistics.
If you look at the false claims made by blacks though, you see a clear pattern that racism is the specific accusation. It’s not just that white people committed some crime against them, it’s that the white people made very clear that they committed the crime out of racism. Jussie Smollett and his fake noose is a very common prop in these hoaxes. Here’s a handy list from a few years ago.
Well now maybe the ante has been upped on the hoaxes/scams. A professor in Florida was apparently making good money largely through scam racism “research papers”. Six of those papers have been retracted, and he has apparently left his almost $200K per year job there. That’s quite the lucrative “grift”. (I don’t much care for that overused word, but since it’s most overused by the left it’s appropriate here.)
In the linked DM article you’ll see that the number of purported respondents was more than doubled, and for some reason only 91 of 326 counties nationwide were included.
My takeaway is that here is a black professor looking at data over a wide area, and after not finding anything to support his narrative of white against black racism, he decided to falsify his results.
Change my mind.
