This is A Stack of Information, a newsletter about things I think are important. In most cases, important in one way or another to just about everyone. From Corona madness to global warming, and all the various ways these issues and many others are being used to increase the power and control of government, and the wealth of those in power.

I’ve known I was a Conservative ever since I listened to Ronald Reagan speaking during the presidential campaign of 1976. I was only 13 at the time, and I can remember talking about politics to one of my adult neighbors who was a schoolteacher back then, and he told me that I knew more already than most adults he dealt with. In addition to following the 1976 campaign on TV, I was a prolific reader and read nearly the entire newspaper each day. It was helpful back in Parkersburg, WV to have a Conservative paper with many Conservative contributors. The afternoon edition had a liberal editor, but he was largely irrelevant.

This was long before Rush Limbaugh came along, but well after TV news had gone left wing. Not nearly as brazenly left wing as now, but still quite obviously biased towards supporting the democrat party. My parents were Republicans so that helped, but at no point in time did any left wing idea ever appeal to me. I don’t think my parents would have lead me to the dark side even if they had been democrats.

In the decades since then I have continued to follow politics, news, and world events closely. I’ve also spent enough time reading up on all things global warming to have at least an associate’s degree in that field, and to some extent that amount of reading is necessary to get a full grasp of the magnitude of the scam. Because I know the facts and the history, I will not be using the euphemism of “climate change” (that was not coined until 2004) except to mock it.

In spite of roughly 3 decades of trying, the global warming scam has not brought the left the power and control they have longed for. The Corona scamdemic, on the other hand, has succeeded beyond their wildest dreams. I’m sure of this, but by all means feel free to try and change my mind and let me know about left wingers who knew how much they could get away with in violation of the Constitution ahead of time. Hat tip to Steven Crowder for popularizing the “change my mind” phrase, as I plan to use it frequently.

So enough of an intro for now. Bear with me as I get this thing rolling, and excuse any typos. I can see already that spellcheck is not working in Substack’s editor, so let me know if you see mistakes.
